December Patch Tuesday Cumulative Update Bumps Windows 10 Current Branch to Build 14393.576

Just like clockwork, Microsoft's final Patch Tuesday of 2016 got underway yesterday to fix performance related issues and other bugs,

Within the KB3206632 cumulative patch for all shipping versions of Windows 10, there were also 12 security related patches to address identified security concerns in the operating system. Check out our summary of those security fixes to know the who, what, where, and when for them and what they impact.

The cumulative update offered yesterday brings the Current Branch (CB) build of Windows 10, in other words the Anniversary Update, to Build 14393.576.

The Windows 10 November Update, designated as the Current Branch for Business (CBB), received cumulative update KB3205386 to move up to build 10586.713 and the original Windows 10 release, also designated as CBB until March 2017, picked up KB3205383 that pushed it to build 10240.17202.

For consumers your primary concern would be the Current Branch release as upgrades to the latest Feature Update are mandatory but business/enterprise users who opt to only use CBB will want to make sure they check out and eventually distribute these patches.
