Q. Can I run regular desktop applications on Windows 10 S?
A. Windows 10 S runs application from the Windows Store only based on the Universal Windows Platform (UWP). It cannot run regular desktop applications. If you need to run regular Windows 10 desktop applications then you should use Windows 10 Professional or potentially use a remote desktop solution on Windows 10 S that connects to a server that runs the actual application.
