Why do I only get 255 characters back in a column in Query Analyzer?

A. The 255 limitation is a Query Analyzer option - you can change it - or use OSQL.EXE which won't show this limitation.
Go to Query/Current Connection Options/Advanced and change max chars per column to whatever maximum you desire.
