A. For SQL 6.5 :- http://support.microsoft.com/download/support/mslfiles/PTK_I386.EXE
This contains everything you need for db-lib, odbc, dmo, ods, xp etc. type programming against SQL Server.
For SQL 7 look on the CD under devtools
