DeZign for Databases 7.0 Includes More Data-Modeling Functionality

Datanamic Solutions released its data-modeling tool, DeZign for Databases 7.0. Several new features have been included in this release, such as a pan-and-zoom window, easier navigation between entities, custom comparison rules, an improved code editor, and improved search-and-replace functionality. ReadyRoll Releases SQL Server Database Projects

ReadyRoll announced the availability of its ReadyRoll SQL Server Projects for Visual Studio. The add-on lets DBAs leverage their existing schema-modeling tools to create a repeatable and predictable process for deploying their databases. According to the company, ReadyRoll brings the user's development environment and other lifecycle environments together with SQL Server and Visual Studio. In addition, ReadyRoll's UI lets users sync changes back and forth between the project and a private database server. ReadyRoll is available for a 30-day trial and is licensed at $345 per seat.
