Comshare announced that Microsoft selected Comshare BudgetPlus for the Universal Business Intelligence Campaign (UBIC). The campaign teaches program partners how to help companies implement successful Business Intelligence solutions that take advantage of their digital nervous systems.Comshare BudgetPLUS is a UBIC solution for management planning and control, including planning, budgeting, financial consolidation, management reporting, and analysis. The alliance will target specific knowledge-management, line-of-business opportunities by combining Comshare with Microsoft’s Office 2000 and SQL Server 7.0 Business Intelligence Platform.In addition to training, Microsoft district personnel will meet with each partner, conduct technical training seminars, and work jointly with UBIC partners to close sales and ensure successful implementation.“As part of the UBIC program, Comshare and Microsoft personnel will become even more knowledgeable about and proficient with each other’s technology for customers who seek greater competitive advantage ... ,” says Dennis Ganster, Comshare president and CEO.
