KNOSYS Expands into Scandinavian Market

As part of its growth activities, Knosys opened a Scandinavian office, Knosys Nordic AB, in Stockholm, Sweden. All ProClarity sales activities for the Nordic region will originate from the Sweden office, which Bo Noresson will manage.“This expansion illustrates the global potential of the OLAP market and the strength of the ProClarity Analytical Platform,” says Bob Lokken, Knosys president and CEO.Knosys ProClarity is one product, designed specifically for use with Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 OLAP Services, which delivers an out-of-the-box OLAP client and an open, flexible, extensible platform for custom analytical application development.“In the last six to nine months, we have recognized an enormous business opportunity in the Nordic market,” says Johan Pellicaan, Knosys Europe’s managing director. The new office will let Knosys fulfill the needs of customers in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
