John Maxwell is the VP of Product Management for Foglight™ Infrastructure solutions. Foglight Infrastructure solutions span storage performance analysis, virtualization management and monitoring for Microsoft AD and Exchange. John leads the team at Dell responsible for product definition, positioning and pricing along with the development of the long term product strategy. While the products that encompass Foglight Infrastructure support heterogeneous environments, John works closely with core Dell teams to ensure tight product integration, primarily in the areas of storage, networking and servers. With more than 20 years in product management and marketing, John’s career has focused primarily in storage and virtualization technologies and held executive level positions as Idealab, Sun Microsystems and Veritas before joining Dell Software over three years ago. John started his career in technology at EDS as a software systems engineer after graduating with a degree in computer science.
