A:Citrix HDX MediaStream Flash Redirection enables the relocation of Adobe Flash content processing from the XenApp server to the client. Moving thisprocessing away from the XenApp server reduces the processing load on that server, freeing resources for use by other concurrent users.

To enable Flash Redirection on XenApp 6.5 and XenDesktop 5.5 servers, ensure first that the server is running Flash Player 10.1 or later for InternetExplorer, and that IE 7, IE 8, or IE 9 is installed. To enable support on servers running IE 8, a final registry edit is required. For 32-bit OSs,navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECitrixHdxMediaStreamForFlashServerPseudoServer and add the entry named IEBrowserMaximumMajorVersion with aDWORD value of 00000009. For 64-bit OSs, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeCitrixHdxMediaStreamForFlashServerPseudoServer and addthe entry named IEBrowserMaximumMajorVersion with a DWORD value of 00000009.
