Q. How can I manually publish applications from Windows XP Mode?

A. If you disable the option to publish automatically from XP Mode, you can manually publish applications from the virtual machines to the host OS. This script, which is based on a script created by Microsoft, can be used to publish applications.

To use the script, pass the name of the application and the path to the application, as shown:

C:>cscript xpcompatpubapp.vbs UltraApp "c:program filesUltraAppultraapp.exeMicrosoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.7Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.
