A. No. If you want to use pass-through disks with a guest partition on a Hyper-V server, the disk must not be mounted on the parent partition. With CSV, the disk is mounted as a subfolder under the ClusterStorage folder. The coordinator node writes metadata and all nodes in the cluster write normal block level information, which is the majority of write activity, directly to the volume. This means the disk is mounted on nodes in the cluster, so it can't be used as a pass-through disk to a child partition.
