Q: If I have an existing NIC team defined on my Hyper-V server, will System Center Virtual Machine Manager be able to manage that team?
A: No. System Center Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) can only manage NIC teams that it creates. If you already have a NIC team on a Hyper-V server, you should delete the team and let VMM create the team when it deploys a logical switch to the server.
