Live Migration With Shared VHDX

Q: How do I perform Shared Nothing Live Migration when using Shared VHDX in Windows Server 2012 R2?

A: Unfortunately, you can't perform a Shared Nothing Live Migration of virtual machines (VMs) using shared virtual hard disk (VHDX). To move the location of the shared VHDX file, you will need to shut down the VMs, then move the files.
