The Diagnostic Tool for the Microsoft VM can be used to scan one or more computers to detect the presence of MSJVM and MSJVM-related software.

System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems: Windows 2000, Windows 2000 Service Pack 2, Windows 2000 Service Pack 3, Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, Windows 95, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

Local Scan Only

• Windows 95 OSR2 or above to run the wizard or command line.

Remote Scan and Local Scans

• Microsoft Windows NT4 SP6, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003 to initiate a remote scan. (NOTE: It is recommended that when you scan multiple remote machines, the tool should be run on a server edition of Windows [includes Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server or Windows Server 2003]. For more information, please see the Known Issues section below.)
• Windows 95 OSR2 or above for remotely scanned machines.
