I'm trying to install the VMM Agent for System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2008 on my Virtual Server 2005 R2 box, but the installation fails and gives a message about Web Services for Management (WS-Management). What’s wrong?

A. You’re likely to see this problem in Windows Server 2003, because Server 2003 doesn’t include WS-Management. You need to install WS-Management before installing the VMM Agent. Download and install the WS-Management component and you should be able to install the agent
