Azure Site-to-Site VPN Connection Costs Between Virtual Networks in Same Region

Q: Is there any charge to create site-to-site VPN connections between virtual networks in the same Azure region?

A: Egress data is charged for data leaving an Azure region. If two virtual networks are connected in the same Azure region, there is no egress traffic and therefore no egress data charges. The only charge would be for the actual VPN gateway; those costs are detailed on the Microsoft Azure Virtual Network Pricing page.
