Dragging the Administrative Tools folder from Documents and SettingsAll UsersStart MenuProgramsAdministrative Tools can cause unwanted consequences.

To create an Administrative Tools shortcut on your desktop:

1. Open a CMD.EXE windows.

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

REG ADD HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerDesktopNameSpace\{D20EA4E1-3957-11d2-A40B-0C5020524153} /F

3. If the icon doesn't appear in a few seconds, left click a blank area of your desktop and press F5.
