The subject annoying behavior is the result of the content provider adding code to open these pop-up windows.

To prevent this behavior, you can disable Active Scripting for the Restricted Sites zone and add the Web site to this zone

To disable Active Scripting for the Restricted Sites:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Select the Security tab of Internet Options from the Tools menu.

3. Select the Restricted Sites zone.

4. Press Default Level to disable Active Scripting or press Custom Level and in the Scripting section, press Disable for Active Scripting.

5. Press OK, Yes, OK, and OK.

To add a site to the Restricted Sites zone:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Select the Security tab of Internet Options from the Tools menu.

3. Select the Restricted Sites zone.

4. Press Sites.

5. Type the Web address for the site into the Add this Web site to the zone box and press Add.

6. You may press Add for additional sites.

7. Press OK and OK.
