An increasing number of DBAs are learning PowerShell. If you're one of them, you might want to check out Don Jones' PowerShell FAQs page. In this page, you can find answers to questions commonly asked by PowerShell novices, such as "What's the difference between single and double quotes?" and "What are parentheses used for in PowerShell?"

If you don't find the answer to your question, you can ask it using the FAQ submittal form. You can access this form by clicking the FAQ to Contribute? link on the PowerShell FAQs page. Don will try to answer as many questions as possible—and he's well qualified to do so. Not only did he co-author the book Windows PowerShell 2.0 but he also writes the "PowerShell With A Purpose" blog.
