When you start a node that had been evicted while it was offline, start Cluadmin.exe (Cluster Administrator), and specify "." to connect to the local node, you receive:

The Cluster service on node cannot be started.

An error occurred attempting to open the cluster at
The Operation completed successfully
Error ID: 0 (00000000)

The Cluster service also generates the following events:

Event ID 1070
The node failed to begin the process of joining the server cluster. The error code was 5052.

To workaround this erroneous behavior, use the cluster name instead of the local "." option when you start Cluster Administrator.
