In tip 1657, I stated that the domain name was at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParametersDomain.

Several users reported that they had an internet domain name at this location, though all of the computer I checked had the Windows NT domain configured there.

I have also located a Windows NT domain name at:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWinlogonCachePrimaryDomain

where CachePrimaryDomain is a type REG_SZ (string) value name.
