Reported December 15, 2000 by Microsoft VERSIONS AFFECTED DESCRIPTIONMicrosoft has released a patch that addresses an issue with Windows Media Services. By connecting to Media Services using a specially- crafted sequence of TCP/IP packets, a malicious user can cause resource starvation to occur.
