A. Microsoft has received many reports of problems that occur during installations of Windows Messenger 5.0 and later. To solve the problem you describe, perform these steps:
Open the winsxs folder (Start, Run, winsxs).
Delete the folder named x86_Microsoft.Windows.Networking.RtcDll_6595b64144ccf1df_5.2.2.1_ or a file similar to this name.
Restart the installation; the problem should be solved.
