Netscape: Netcaster this week

Contradicting reports that the final version of Netcaster would be madeavailable today, Netscape Communications announced today that it would beavailable later this week. The company also announced that 700 channelswill be available via Netcaster.

Contradicting reports that the final version of Netcaster would be madeavailable today, Netscape Communications announced today that it would beavailable later this week. The company also announced that 700 channelswill be available via Netcaster. The Netcaster release will coincide withCommunicator 4.02, the third refresh of the suite since its June release.According to Netscape, Netcaster was withheld from the original version ofCommunicator 4.0 so they could perform final performance and usability tuning.

We will have a WinInfo Channel for Netscape Netcaster available by September. Stay tuned for an announcement
