Thanks to Allen Harkleroad for the tip: Microsoft Corporation has quietly re-released the Office 97 SR2a patch in a new version that is being designated version SR2b. Office 97 SR2b requires that Service Release 1 be installed first.

Changes include updates to Outlook 97 and the Jet database engine, which was upgraded to version 3.5, as well as a host of other bug fixes. For more information and a free download, please visit the Microsoft Web site
