When you plug a USB 1.1 video device into a USB 2.0 hub, Windows XP distorts the images, or doesn't display them.

This behavior occurs because of an error in the Windows XP driver for EHCI (Enhanced Host Controller Interface) USB controllers.

To workaround this problem, plug the USB 1.1 video device directly into a USB 2.0 port on the Windows XP computer.
