JSI Tip 8377. Windows XP does NOT resume from standby when you move the USB mouse or press a key on the USB keyboard?

The subject condition will occurs if you move the USB mouse, or press a key on the USB keyboard, while the computer is preparing to enter standby. When the Usbport.sys driver calls the wake up function before the computer has fully entered standby, the device, and any other device on the same USB host controller may stop responding.

NOTE: If you use the power button to resume from standby during this condition, your mouse and keyboard may not work properly.

To resolve this problem, you must restart your computer.
