If the Remote Registry Service is Disabled before you start the Routing and Remote Access Service, you cannot view or change the RRAS configuration. If you disable the Remote Registry Service while RRAS is running, you will likely experienceintermittent connection failures.
When you view the RRAS properties, you may receive: You don't have the required permissions to view the properties.
Configure the Remote Registry Service with a Startup type of Automatic. Then Stop the Routing and Remote Access Service, Start the Remote Registry Service, and then Start the Routing and Remote Access Service.
