If you had installed the Recovery Console to a FAT or FAT32 partition, and subsequently converted to NTFS, you must resinstall the Recovery Console.

NOTE: If you don't have time, start the Recovery Console from the Windows 2000 CD-ROM.

NOTE: When you install the Recovery Console, file system specific boot files are copied to the C:cmdcons folder.
