How do I remove the Windows 2000 Resource Kit time service?

Start the Control Panel Services applet, and stop the Time Service.

Start the registry editor (regedt32.exe).

Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ServicesEventlogApplication

Select TimeServ, and click Del. Click Yes to the confirmation.

Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001Services.

Select TimeServ, and click Del. Click Yes to the confirmation.

Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesEventlogApplication.

Select TimeServ, and click Del. Click Yes to the confirmation.
