How do I read NTFS 5.0 partitions from Windows NT 4.0?

A. A. Service Pack 4 includes a read/write driver for NTFS 5.0 volumes (an updated ntfs.sys driver). This is installed by default when installing Service Pack 4 however you do not have access to the more advanced features such as junction points and the Encrypted File System.
