How do I make the Domain Users group a member of the Pre-Windows 2000 Compatible Access group?

Start the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in (go to Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, Active Directory Users and Computers).

Select the required server, and select the BUILTIN folder.

In the Details pane, right-click the Pre-Windows 2000 Compatible Access group and select Properties from the context menu.

On the Members tab, click Add (from here, you can also determine whether the Domain Users group is a member of the Pre-Windows 2000 Compatible Access Group).

In the Select Users, Contacts, Computers or Groups dialog box, click the Domain Users group, click Add, and click OK.

Verify that the Domain Users group has been added, and click OK.

Close the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
