A. A. The default 2 minutes can be changed by performing the following:

  1. Start the registry editor (regedit.exe)

  2. Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters

  3. From the Edit menu select New - DWord value and enter a name of ArpCacheLife, click OK

  4. Double click the new value and set to the new value in seconds and click OK

  5. Close the registry editor

  6. Reboot
