A. A. Each service belongs to a Service Group, and it is possible to modify the order that the groups start:

  1. Start the Regitry Editor (regedt32.exe, not regedit.exe)

  2. Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlServiceGroupOrder

  3. Double click on List in the right hand pane

  4. You can then move the groups around in the list order

  5. Click OK

  6. Close the registry editor
