Get the latest Windows 2000 Hardware Compatibility List

Thanks to Keith Furman for the tip: Microsoft has made the latest version ofits Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) for Windows 2000 available on theMicrosoft FTP site.

This document contains a list of all the hardware that is known to workperfectly with Windows 2000. Though you may be able to get other hardware towork (and indeed, the list will grow between now and October), you can besure of an error-free Windows 2000 system if your system contains only thehardware on this list
