Does Windows XP include a compressed folders feature?

A. Yes, XP includes a compressed folders feature similar to the compressed folders feature in Windows Me and in the Plus! 98 pack for Windows 98. XP's compressed folders feature lets you manipulate .zip files; however, this feature can be slow with large numbers of files. I'm glad that Microsoft is including this functionality in XP, but I still recommend using a third-party compression program.
