A. Native NT does not support FAT32. NT Internals havereleased a read-only FAT32 driver for Windows NT 4.0 fromhttp://www.sysinternals.com/fat32.htm,or a full read/write version can be purchased fromhttp://www.winternals.com.

Windows 2000 has full FAT 32(x) support with the following conditions:

  • Pre-existing FAT32(x) partitions up to 127GB will mount and be supportedunder Windows 2000.

  • Windows 2000 will only allow you to create new FAT32(x) volumes of 32gb orless.
