A. Applications can be started from a number of places

  • In the Startup Folder for the current user, and all user group

  • In the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionWinlogonUserinit
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun

The easiest way would be to search the registry using REGEDIT on theapplication name
