You Can Now Manage Your Email, Keep Your Calendar Holographically

A visual staple of sci-fi movies -- the floating holographic screens of future computers -- is now a reality, thanks to the Microsoft Office team. They've adapted Microsoft Outlook's email and calendaring apps for the HoloLens. Says the team:

With Outlook Mail on HoloLens, you can now place your inbox on your office wall to stay on top of emails while simultaneously interacting with other digital content in your real world. You can also quickly see what’s coming up next in your day with your new wall calendar.

To get the Outlook apps on HoloLens, users must open the Windows Store on HoloLens, and search for Outlook Mail and Calendar, then click to follow the steps for installation.
