Commvault. The Simpana software seamlessly integrates with SharePoint to ensure the rapid recovery of granular items for increased uptime, along with automation to control SharePoint growth. It also include reporting capabilities so organizations can make informed business decisions regarding storage growth and data retention.
Dell. The Dell Quick Apps for SharePoint lets organizations create their own apps, such as charts or forms, in SharePoint 2010 or 2013 without the need of custom coding. The configuration tool provides pre-developed web parts, and also includes the ability to automate simple or repetitive tasks.
STEALTHbits Technologies. As one of our finalists in the SharePoint category for the Best of TechEd Awards, the StealthAUDIT for Data Access Governance solution for SharePoint lets organizations insure that control over who has access to their data. The solution also works to enforce secure collaboration through effective access rights, data ownership, access activity, and more.
Optimal IdM. The Virtual Identity Server (VIS) for SharePoint is also another finalist within the SharePoint category for the Best of TechEd awards. VIS helps eliminate the classic problem of deploying SharePoint via a true federated claims-based model. Although federation is a great method for distributed authentication, it isn't great for authorization. As a result, the VIS solution manage roles for internal and external users, helping to eliminate the maintenance nightmare.
And that's a wrap! Continue following SharePoint Pro for more updates and information on the upcoming Microsoft TechEd 2014 conference!
