There's an App for That--In SharePoint

"There's an app for that" has become a cliche, but most cliches are rooted in truth. There is likely an app for most everything you want to do on your smartphone, but, increasingly, there's one for what you want to do on SharePoint.

Starting next week, we will be highlighting a SharePoint App of the Week. We'll focus on apps that help IT support business users, apps that help business users do their jobs better, and apps that support businesses' engagement with their customers. (We also may be inclined to highlight an app or two that makes business more enjoyable--gamification, anyone?)

We'd love to hear your suggestions for apps to include in this feature--the ones that have worked for your company and that you would recommend to your peers. We'd also appreciate your input into the development of your own apps for SharePoint. What's worked? What hasn't? Why?
