A: SharePoint can have a rather confusing structure where it stores files, and it can be tough to know where you should place files to be able to use them in your pages. The easiest way is to open IIS Manager on the SharePoint server and navigate to , Sites, , _layouts, images, then right-click and select Explore. This will open Windows Explorer where SharePoint stores its images. (By default, it's C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedWeb Server Extensions12templateimages.) You can then copy files into this folder and include them in your SharePoint pages using path /_layouts/images/.
