Q. I need to sync free/busy information between Exchange Server 2007 and GroupWise. Can this be done directly?

A. No. There are third-party tools from companies such as Quest that can sync free/busy information, but these tools still sit on top of the GroupWise Connector that was removed in Exchange 2007. You still need an Exchange 2003 server in the environment with the GroupWise connector in place for the third-party tools to use.
