A: The first step is to make sure there is an autodiscover host (A) record for your domain that points to the server hosting autodiscovery. For example,

C:Usersjohn>nslookup autodiscover.savilltech.net
Server: savdaldc10.savilltech.net
Address: 192.168.1.10

Name: autodiscover.savilltech.net
Address: 192.168.1.44

Next, try to access your autodiscovery service using a web browser. The URL you should use is http://autodiscover./autodiscover/autodiscover.xml, e.g. https://autodiscover.savilltech.net/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml. You should receive some XML with an error in it, as shown below, and that's correct. If you don't get XML, you need to troubleshoot your discovery service in Exchange.
