OneNote for Android Updated

Microsoft issued an update for its Android version of OneNote this week, adding several new features aimed at making it easier for users to capture and access their notes on the go. But the notable bit, perhaps, is that each of the new features integrates with a recent Android platform update.

According to Microsoft, this update adds the following features:

Share button. This new button allows users to add information from any application to OneNote with one click.

Recent widget. A new OneNote Recent widget enables you to quickly access your recent notes from your home screen. (OneNote also provides OneNote, OneNote Audio, OneNote New Note and OneNote Picture Note widgets on Android.)

Add to home screen. A new Add to home screen feature lets you add your favorite OneNote page, section or notebook to your handset's home screen.

Multi-Window support. On devices that support multi-window mode, you can now use and view OneNote alongside other apps.

You can download OneNote for Android from the Google Play Store.
