OneNote Expands to Amazon Fire Phone and Kindle Fire Tablets

Microsoft's ubiquitous note-taking mobile app just got a lot more, um, ubiquitous. Its available now on Amazon's Fire OS-based devices, the Fire Phone handset and the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HDX tablets.

There's not too much to say about this, but in yesterday's article Skype + Amazon Fire Phone, I noted that Microsoft's supply of apps on Amazon's Android-based devices is pretty poor. Aside from Skype and now OneNote, I see Xbox 360 SmartGlass, Xbox One SmartGlass, OneDrive, Wordament and Bing Search being available. But that's it.

Obviously, OneNote (like Skype) is a key app. But hopefully we'll see a lot more soon.

I don't use any Kindle tablets regularly, so I won't be testing this app release immediately. But you can download OneNote for Amazon's devices from the Appstore for Android.
