A problem with missing images and icons in Visual Studio 2015 has now been offered a fix from Microsoft. The issue is the result of installing or uninstalling extensions. The problem isn’t consistent but most Visual Studio users will experience it eventually. Hence, why the fix is needed.
The download, KB3095681, is intended to fix no images being displayed in Visual Studio 2015.
