When it comes to Exchange Server tools that I know and love, I couldn't survive without the Microsoft Mailbox Merge Wizard, aka Exmerge (exmerge.exe). This tool lets me export and import the entire contents of a specific user's mailbox. This capability has value beyond use in server migrations: I can use Exmerge for rudimentary brick-level backup to disk and as a final step before deleting a terminated employee's mailbox. Exmerge is included on the Exchange server CDROM, but to get the most recently updated version, go to the Microsoft Exchange Server TechCenter (http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/downloads/2003) and look under Tools for Exchange Server 2003.
