Android Users Join iOS Users in Dropbox Support in Office 365 Mobile

A couple weeks ago, Microsoft and Dropbox announced a partnership that would bring Dropbox integration inside Office 365 Mobile apps. To coincide with the announcement, Microsoft also released a revamped version of Office 365 Mobile for iOS that included the integration.

Today, Microsoft is making the same Dropbox integration available for Android phone users.

The new functionality brings:

  • Dropbox as an online storage location.

  • File browsing on Dropbox from your Office Mobile app for Android phones.

  • Editing Office files directly in Dropbox, and automatically saving them back to Dropbox.

  • Files sharing, right from Office Mobile for Android phones.

If you already have Office Mobile for Android installed, the update is available now. If you've not installed the app yet, or tried it out and removed it at some point, you can obtain it from the Google Play Store here:  Microsoft Office Mobile
