Q. Is there a way to add disclaimer message to Exchange Server 2003 outbound messages without the use of a third-party tools? I don't want to use Microsoft's Visual Basic (VB) method to do this.

A. If you don't want to use either the VBScript or VB method that Microsoft provides, your only option is to use a third-party tool to add a disclaimer to outgoing Exchange 2003 messages. Some reasonably priced ones are available, though—for more information, see Troubleshooter: Adding Disclaimers to External Messages. A couple of relatively low-priced disclaimer software products (less than $100US) are QS Disclaimer and DisclaimIT.
